Feburary 28 2023: We demostrated EyeCanDo to the public on National Rare Disease Day.

At the Rare Disease Day Awareness & Networking Fair, we demostrated EyeCanDo to students at Stony Brook University and shared our experience to raise awareness of rare diseases.

December 1, 2021: We got an award from DOD CDMRP to continue to advance EyeCanDo.

Our proposal “Integrative Multi-Modal Communication for ALS Patients Using iPad” was recommended for funding by the Department of Defense Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Program for the Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

March 9, 2021: EyeCanDo was evaluated at ALS Clinic of Stony Brook Medicine.

Starting from March 9, 2021, EyeCanDo has been evalauted at ALS Clinic, with 20 participating patients.

December 23, 2019: We were funded by the ALS Associaton.

We were selected for funding for the ALS Association Managing ALS Award on eye gaze-based technology using Apple TrueDepth camera to enable communication for ALS patients.
